I did the Simply Red tour with Xavier while in Bordeaux on my honeymoon and couldn't be happier.Xavier was a fantastic tour guide, and even worked in a last minute change of plans to our schedule based on our interests.The restaurants we ate at were lovely and the 3-star hotel was in a fantastic location near the city center. This trip was worth every dollar we spent, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great wine tour.
From our very first contact with Ysabel every communication was quick and responsive. We booked the 4 day 3 night tour and enjoyed every single moment. Xavier was so knowledgable and showed us some great wineries and we really enjoyed each restaurant he chose. Our first night in a Chateau was lovely with extremely smart rooms and we enjoyed using the pool after a hot day!The transport was in a smart Mercedes van, very comfortable and Xavier was a very considerate driver! His information about the history of the region was interesting and we left extremely happy with every aspect of our tour. Our only disappointment is that we couldn't ship crates of wine back to enjoy as the freight and tax to Australia is exhorbitant. So we just had to enjoy a few special wine while there, but fortunately Margaret River where we live also makes wonderful wine!We would not hesitate to recommend 33 Tour!
We booked only the day before and they did everything possible to make this easy and wonderful! Our emails were responded to immediately, our guide (Xavier) was very experienced and took us to the best local restaurant in Saint Emilion and to the best photo areas in the region. On top he shared lots of great insider info on winemaking and the region. Great minivan, super clean! Couldnt say more or be happier to give an outstanding review. Trust your trip with these guys!
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the "Simply Red" tour with Xavier. It was the perfect balance of education, tasting, sight-seeing, and relaxation. Each chateau we visited had its own charm, and after this weekend we gained a whole new appreciation for the different wines from the various terrains of Bordeaux. The whole trip was tailored to our liking, and Xavier proved to be a very personable guide with a lot of knowledge to share and passion for his land. Definitely a memorable trip!
Nous avons utilis le service de 33 tours Bordeaux en septembre 2012 pour une journe; Chteau Giscours, Chteau Pontet-Canet, Chteau Gruaud-Larose.Le choix des visites, notre trs prcieuse guide que ce soit au niveau de ses excellentes explications ainsi que de sa parfaite conduite sur la route, la pause Arcins chez Barbier midi ont rendu cette journe absolument comme je l'imaginais. Des lieux magiques et se laisser guider dans ces lieux mythiques sans avoir besoin de chercher, ni de conduire... Une socit recommander d'autres amis connaisseurs qui souhaiteraient visiter quelques chteaux bordelais.
